Per Stirling Volunteers! – Helping out our community

Instead of focusing on a single organization for April’s volunteer initiative, Per Stirling decided to broaden efforts to help the community during this global pandemic. This is a trying time for many individuals and businesses and we all wanted to focus on making a difference beginning with our community.

Staff and Advisors at Per Stirling have made monetary donations to several non-profit organizations including; Austin Pets Alive, Central Texas Food Bank & Hays County Food Bank. While some of us helped out monetarily, others took action by going grocery shopping for the elderly and those who are at higher risk and most vulnerable to the coronavirus. Groceries have also been purchased and donated to churches.

An advisor at Per Stirling also adopted a family through his child’s school and makes weekly monetary donations to assist with food and other finances during this devastating time.

During the month of May, we plan to continue our efforts in helping the community as a whole during this pandemic. There’s no shortage of opportunities for each of us to help in substantial ways. After all, as socially distanced as we may be, we are all in this together.
