Jocelyn joined the Per Stirling team as an Operations Specialist in November of 2022. She loves helping financial advisors assist their clients in reaching their financial goals by bringing efficiency, clarity, and ease to the process.
Jocelyn spent the formative years of her career in Education where she learned the art of effective communication as well as how to simplify and articulate complex systems. She later transitioned to the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, starting in their Investment Management Division, and later transitioning to serve the Retirement Benefits Department as a Senior Retirement Counselor and Counselor Trainer.
As a lifetime appreciator of financial wellness and literacy, Jocelyn naturally loved helping the members of the Texas education system understand their retirement benefits. This sparked a desire within her to learn more about Retirement and Financial Planning. Jocelyn currently holds her Series 65 license as a Registered Investment Adviser Representative and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University.
Jocelyn graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. In her free time Jocelyn values spending time with her loved ones, performing actively within Austin’s live music community, oil painting, staying active, and exploring good restaurants.
Others would describe Jocelyn as dynamic, intentional, and encouraging.
