Michael Katrein

Michael Katrein has been in the wealth management industry since 2016. However, as the son of the founder of Retirement Consulting Services, he has in fact been immersed in the financial profession for much of his life, and this experience has provided Michael with a solid foundation in regard to the capital markets and investing.
Michael’s professional goal is to combine his knowledge of the capital markets with his interest in financial planning and needs-based investing to provide his clients with a comprehensive and truly valuable wealth management experience. Michael takes particular care to educate his clients about the importance of planning and preparing for both life events and personal goals. He supports this education by creating detailed financial plans that provide his clients with a useful roadmap to help keep them on track to meet their most important financial objectives.
Michael attended Sam Houston State University and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. In January of 2016, Michael joined his father at Retirement Consulting Services, where they worked together side-by-side for two years before jointly deciding to join Per Stirling.
When not working, Michael enjoys outdoor activities, including fishing, playing softball, golfing and playing with his husky/lab mix, Dixie.
