Ryan joined the Per Stirling team as a Partner in 2013. He has been in the wealth management profession since 2004 refining and taking clients through his comprehensive wealth management process, Beyond the Horizon. His process, which incorporates investment, tax, risk and income planning, provides clients a tangible roadmap to help them achieve their financial and lifetime goals. ‘Wealth management, at its core, is the integration of a multitude of separate disciplines to achieve two primary goals: financial freedom and lifetime achievement.’ First class client service, up-to-date industry knowledge and pro-active management are the pillars of Ryan’s wealth management philosophy.
In March 2007, Ryan achieved the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Combining this expertise with his CPA background, he provides his clients with a unique combination of knowledge and creativity in his financial, tax and investment planning. Prior to joining the wealth management profession, Ryan spent five years at Ernst & Young, LLP (E&Y), where he earned his CPA certificate. While at E&Y, Ryan worked in the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services Group, where he advised private-equity firms on multi-billion dollar acquisitions, and also performed financial, operational and accounting due diligence.
Ryan graduated from The College of William and Mary with a Bachelor’s in Finance, and then went on to receive his Master’s degree from The University of Virginia.
