Per Stirling Presents the 2019 Ethics in Business Award

Every year, more than fifty businesses are nominated for RecognizeGood’s Ethics in Business and Community Award. All nominees are sorted into 5 different categories: Individual, Non-profit, Small Business, Mid-Sized Business and Large Business. The businesses are interviewed and then narrowed down to 15 finalists (three in each of the five categories). The winners for each category are then announced at the annual Ethics in Business Luncheon.

Per Stirling Capital Management was honored to receive the Ethics in Business and Community Award in 2018. This Year, on May 23rd 2019, our very own Robert Phipps had the privilege of presenting the new Per Stirling Ethics in Business and Community Award (nonprofit category) to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Austin Area.

According to their web site, “The Boys and Girls Club of the Austin Area is Austin’s leading youth development agency—a non-profit, locally-governed agency devoted to providing hope and opportunity to all kids, especially those who need us most, between the ages of 6 and 18. With 34 locations in Travis and Bastrop County, we serve more than 7,500 registered members annually (and more than 2,300 every day) and impact nearly 11,300 youth each year.”

No matter the size, industry or level of profitability of an organization, we believe that business ethics is perhaps the single most important driver of long-term success. Per Stirling was honored to win the Business in Ethics and Community Award in 2018, but it was an even greater honor to present the award to a nonprofit that was just as deserving.
