MarchPer Stirling Volunteers! – The Jeremiah Project
The Jeremiah Project is a national organization with a mission to disrupt the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children, two generations at a time. In 2022, statistics showed that there were over 40 thousand single mothers raising their children in poverty, in the Austin Area alone.
The Jeremiah Project accepts donations to assist and support these families to make the transition from poverty to prosperity. Above and beyond the goal of meeting basic needs like shelter; high-quality, early learning child care is available on-site, so mothers can take advantage of courses in career training, personal empowerment and life skills.
Although we were not able to coordinate hands-on volunteering this year, Per Stirling staff and advisors were inspired to make monetary donations towards The Jeremiah Project mission.
March Volunteering
In March, we will be contributing to Amplify Austin, and also focus on cleaning up local parks in our community. We live here, we give here!
