AprilPer Stirling Volunteers! – Amplify Austin and My Park Day
In March, Per Stirling proudly participated in Amplify Austin Day 2023, Central Texas’ largest day of giving. This event was organized by the I Live Here I Give Here campaign, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a more united and prosperous community through generous community giving.
The staff and advisors at Per Stirling showed their support by making nearly $1,000 in monetary donations to various local nonprofit organizations, including Austin Pets Alive, Foundation Communities, Out Youth, Caring Place, A Kitty’s Purrsuit of Happiness, ACME Cats Rescue Ranch, AGE of Central Texas, Austin Angels, Family Eldercare, Austin Sunshine Camps, and Foster Village. To maximize the impact of their donations, each contribution was matched through the Amplify Austin program.
As the I Live Here I Give Here campaign emphasizes, “We all have something to contribute. Let’s give together and shape the future of our community.”
In addition to Amplify Austin, Per Stirling’s staff and advisors also took part in My Park Day on March 4th at Brentwood Park in North Austin. Despite the aftermath of a recent storm, they rolled up their sleeves and cleared debris, weeded flower beds, and mulched trees and flower beds to help beautify the park.
Looking ahead, Per Stirling is excited to continue their volunteer efforts in April by participating in the Bowl for Kids event, which benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas. By actively engaging in these community initiatives, Per Stirling is committed to making a positive impact and contributing to the betterment of Central Texas.
