JanuaryPer Stirling Volunteers! – Partnerships for Children
As has been our tradition, we selected causes for our December Community Initiative that supported those in need during the holiday season.
Through collaborations with Partnerships for Children, Carrying Hope, and SAFE Alliance, we received “wish lists” for gifts that could be purchased at Amazon or Target to help ensure a special Christmas for some children in need. Per Stirling advisors and staff also donated gifts ranging from stuffed animals, blankets, and sheets to books and Legos.
In addition to tangible gifts, numerous advisors and staff made financial contributions to Carrying Hope, Partnerships for Children, and SAFE Alliance. There was even a grass roots campaign that resulted in several families donating new, unwrapped toys to Toys for Tots.
As we enter the new year, our team is on the lookout for other charities and service organizations that are making a real difference for those in need. Last year, we asked our clients for their ideas and recommendations, and received some wonderful feedback. We will make that same request again and would love to hear what organizations you think are really worthwhile causes.
