MarchPer Stirling Volunteers! – Abigail E Keller Foundation
In the month of February, Per Stirling focused volunteer initiative efforts on Abigail E Keller Foundation. The mission of Abigail E. Keller Foundation is to support programs and organizations that serve the rare, undiagnosed, terminally ill, and medically complex/fragile pediatric community.
In February, the foundation hosted a teddy bear drive to gift bears to kids at Dell’s Children Hospital. This marked the fifth consecutive year the foundation hosted this event, and both Per Stirling staff and advisors were thrilled to participate. An Amazon link was provided for selecting and purchasing teddy bears from a designated shopping list, which were then sent directly to the foundation.
The enthusiasm for this initiative resulted in $200 in monetary donations and 40 bears that were donated to brighten a child’s day at Dell Children’s Hospital. This initiative was suggested by one of our Per Stirling advisors.
In March, we encouraged donations through Amplify Austin, which multiplied the benefit of the team’s numerous gifts, by having them matched by other donors.
