OctoberPer Stirling Quarterly Event – Our First Tailgate
On Saturday, September 30th, Per Stirling hosted its first tailgate event in a field just outside Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium as the Texas Longhorns faced off against and triumphed over the Kansas University Jayhawks, securing a 40-14 victory.
Fortunately, we selected a game that happened to coincide with the Texas Homecoming Weekend, which means that we got to see Alumni Band members march down the street right in front of our tailgate setup before heading into the stadium for the kickoff. During halftime, they delighted the crowd with a memorable performance. The Longhorn Alumni Band, boasting over 5,000 members spread across the globe, holds the distinction of being the world’s largest alumni band.
At kickoff, some of our team and guests made their way to the stadium to catch the game, while others opted for a more comfortable game-viewing experience in the shade at our tailgate setup, complete with plenty of Texas barbecue and fans strategically placed to ensure the everyone’s comfort.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the Clients, Advisors, and Staff who joined us to enjoy some camaraderie, great food, and the sweet taste of victory!
