SeptemberPer Stirling Volunteers! – Wildfire Relief
The past month has provided a powerful reminder of the destructive might of wildfires, which have disrupted peoples’ lives from central Texas to the beautiful islands of Hawaii. In response, the team at Per Stirling has worked together to support local firefighters and our fellow Texans who have been impacted by these deadly fires.
Wildfires have become an increasing threat to communities worldwide due to climate change and various environmental factors. Hawaii and our local area have not been immune to these disasters, as raging wildfires have consumed forests, homes, and precious natural landscapes. Residents have felt the impact of these devastating fires, and the need for assistance has been critical.
In the month of August, our team launched company-wide fundraising efforts to collect monetary donations for organizations working tirelessly to combat wildfires and support affected communities. Some of the organizations we focused on include Austin Disaster Relief, Austin Fire Foundation, Hawaiian Way Fund, Maui United Way, and Maui Food Bank. These funds have been directed towards providing essential supplies, food, and shelter for those in need, as well as supporting the brave firefighters battling the blazes.
In times of crisis, unity and support are essential. Our company’s volunteer efforts in response to the devastating wildfires in Hawaii and our local Austin area exemplify our commitment to the well-being of the communities we serve. By lending a helping hand to those affected and contributing to long-term recovery and prevention efforts, we hope to make a positive difference and inspire others to join us in caring for our beautiful world. Together, we can overcome the challenges posed by wildfires and emerge stronger, more resilient, and more prepared for the future.
In September, we will shift our attention and channel our volunteer efforts towards Cancer Awareness and Suicide Awareness Months.
