Per Stirling recently held its annual “Bring Your Kiddo to Work Day” event, creating a memorable experience for advisors’ and employees’ children. The event aimed to give the kids insight into their parents’ professions, allowing them to explore their parents’ workplaces and partake in various exciting activities throughout the day.
The event commenced with a tour of the parents’ offices, then the children were given some exciting coloring pages featuring the market’s mascots, “the bull and the bear”. To add to the fun, the organizers invited Jasper & Costello, a talented balloon artist and face painting duo. Their incredible skills left both the children and parents in awe as they crafted impressive balloon animals and detailed face paintings.
As the children’s appetites grew, delicious pizza from Austin’s Pizza was served for lunch, making sure everyone was fueled up for the next surprise. The atmosphere turned adventurous when Wild Things Zoofari arrived with a fascinating array of exotic animals. From a baby spider monkey and joey kangaroo to a keel-billed toucan, fennec fox, and a sleepy kinkajou, the kids had the incredible opportunity to interact with these captivating creatures. They were allowed to hold and engage with most of the animals while learning interesting facts about each species.
To end the day on an exciting note, the West Lake Fire Department paid a visit, offering the children a chance to explore a real firetruck and meet some genuine heroes.
The “Bring Your Kiddo to Work Day” event symbolized a joyous celebration of family, learning, and fun.
